Solis Barista Gran Gusto 1014
The machine is for its price a super entry into the portafilter business, the tamper is extremely high quality and made of complete stainless steel. Also the portafilter with the supplied sieves are top. Again, if you want to make a lot of milk drinks it is nothing the foam lance is just too weak and since it is a thermoblock you also have to wait a long time until it is ready for use. Also, the temperatures are not very stable but with a lot of pre-rinsing you get the temperatures to the desired 93 degrees Celsius. The drip tray is small sharp-edged and very cheap plastic.
Finally to say as a beginner for espresso and coffee leibhaber a top product with best price-performance ratio. However, for milk foam drinks not necessarily suitable.

Solis Barista Gran Gusto
Ok, I admit I'm still a beginner in the almost unmanageable world of espresso and portafilter machines. I once had a portafilter machine from Aldi years ago, absolutely no comparison to this. Even with a standard espresso from Denner (I have now taken in advance intentionally to adjust the grinder Sage The Smart Grinder and to get to know the whole matter) the espresso or capuccino tastes better than I remember it in most cafes.
Coffee is really very easy to make with the Solis Barista Gran Gusto.
Clearly there are certainly better machines (dual-circuit, dual boiler, machines with PID, etc.) therefore "only" 4 stars, but in relation to the price a great device so far.
Do not save but especially as a beginner to a reasonably good mill, I think from Fr. 200.- upwards you're super.
Update with coffees from the roaster follows.

We are very happy with the product; it fully meets our expectations for a small home barista. Coffee we always grind fresh with separate grinder; result always extremely fine. Highly recommended!
Attention: Will be regularly decalcified.

Up to now, every machine from the chandlery has made better coffee. All the sieves are Chinese scrap. Did KI design such junk? It's a shame.
With the right grind (good grinder required) and the right coffee, you can get a great espresso here even with the 1-grinder. For comparison: I couldn't do it with the Lelit Anna.
