Quite ok
I have shortened denim trousers, some of which involve many layers of fabric, and it masters this with flying colours. I never had to help by hand. Like many sewing machines, it struggles with soft and/or stretchy fabrics. It only comes with a quick guide, but even in the detailed online manual there are no recommendations regarding thread tension settings by fabric. However, once adjusted a little, it also sewed these fabrics beautifully. The light is too dim for me. I will buy a brighter LED bulb. The design seems to be ok. The outside is plastic, only the mechanism is metal. But everything is absolutely stable and the machine is quite light. The threading aid does not turn into the needle hole on its own when lowering and also likes to touch the presser foot. This could have been optimised. The material compartment is unnecessarily small. There is no oil in it and the machine was not oiled. However, the machine is constructed normally and should be oiled from time to time in my opinion. This helps to avoid problems. Singer could still optimise a few things, but for the price, the sewing machine is excellent.

Machine good, but false promises on the Galxus homepage
The sewing machine does what it is supposed to do: it sews. Operation is simple and mostly intuitive. Delivery was very prompt. On a negative note, the Galaxus website mentions several times that the machine is equipped with a top feed - right after the sewing light, etc. As the "special feature" of the "sewing light" and all the other "special features" mentioned are permanently installed in practically all sewing machines, it is assumed that this also applies to the top feed mentioned several times. However, this top feed (foot) is not actually present. This is annoying if the purchase decision depended essentially on this feature. It cannot even be reordered from Galaxus - it is not in the range for "Singer" machines and customer service takes the view that the corresponding presser foot is not mentioned in the instructions as "included in the scope of delivery". Due to the "misleading" description, Galaxus has granted a credit note as a gesture of goodwill.

Good product
Along with the sewing machine came the manual written in Eastern languages, nothing in the national languages, so I had to look it up in Italian and print it out.

Super price-performance ratio, although instructions are not in German but the machine is self-explanatory.
