I've had the TV for about 3 weeks now and I have to say I'm very happy with it. Since my old Samsung (40") gave up the ghost, a solution had to be found quickly and I came across this 60" for 999. Great price for these dimensions.
I mainly use it for gaming and am very happy with the picture. I don't really notice any input lag either.
Afterwards I found out that it supports movies from USB, but you have to be careful with the .mkv files that are everywhere, because it doesn't support DTS (soundtrack). But you can quickly find help with an audio converter that converts a 1080p film to AC3 within about 30 minutes. Then all you have to do is plug the stick into the TV and the film starts. I think it's great!
Since I'm not a big audiophile, I can't say much about the sound equipment of the TV, I'm satisfied with it, but I don't have a high standard. Most people will probably hook up a sound system anyway.
I haven't tested 3D yet because it doesn't come with glasses and I'm not that keen on it. But I'm sure I'll make up for it.
Another thing I noticed was the manual. It's been a long time since I've seen such a thick manual, since everything is digital nowadays. But here you get a fat ham in which everything is explained.
All in all, this is a "huge" TV without any gimmicks like 3D glasses or wifi, which can be purchased separately if required.

For its 60", a solid TV.
I have had the TV for 14 months and am very satisfied with it.

pleasantly surprised so far, good rich picture, easy to use in the menu. good price-performance ratio for this tv size.
andreasbernhard1003: I had exactly the same problem, but through trial and error I found the solution: ALWAYS switch on your receiver after you have switched on the TV. This way my receiver always gets the signal. I know it's hard, but try it! :) I am otherwise very satisfied with the device.
Actually good, BUT: The coaxial digital audio output only works from time to time, i.e. most of the time not. I have a Vincent SV-122 surround receiver connected. I never had any problems with digital-optical with the old Samsung TV. And coaxial with a Cablecom box also worked once. Now I'll have to buy another HD recorder. Annoying, because I bought the Sharp not only because of the size, but also because of the USB recording function. Well, maybe an update will help.
