Sharp 55GP6260E
55", QLED, 4K, 2023
I bought this TV because my Samsung QE broke.
Sound quality is really bad, you definitely need a soundbar if you want to enjoy the films to some extent, it sounds completely devoid of low and mid tones, I don't think Sharp saved that much on it.
Picture quality varies depending on the video source. With 8K or 4K videos (e.g. from Yotuube or Bluray), the TV switches to HDR mode and the picture is incredible, with saturated colours and tonality. With "normal" sources, where the TV does upscaling, you quickly notice the "washed out" colours, as if this wasn't sophisticated enough. It has a number of display adjustments, but I was never able to achieve the full lustre. Viewed from the front, the general impression of the picture is good overall, but from the side the colours lose their brilliance and you notice the massive loss of contrast and colour reproduction.
For the price (I paid CHF 364.- for it on sale) I'm satisfied, but unfortunately it can't compete with my broken Samsung QE5060TAU.

Replacement for 10 year old Samsung, new TV much faster and better picture, we are amazed at the technical development.
The set weighs only approx. 11 kg
For 349 you can't say anything negative.
