Sena SRL mesh

Habs in a Shoei Neotec 2, you don't have much choice if you want a built-in system. The installation is a bit tricky, because all the cables are fixed and with this SRL mesh, compared to the predecessor SRL2, there are also some antenna cables that don't really belong anywhere. But ok, with a little patience it works.
The sound has improved compared to the SRL2 (probably due to the Harman/Kardon "pimped" speakers), but is not on the same level as the Cardo Packtalk Bold + JBL that I have on another helmet. Especially compared to the Cardo, the volume change is a bit rough when changing speed, it has like steps. I'm hoping for an improvement after the next firmware/software update (firmware updates can be done via the included USB WLAN cable).
The microphone is good, though. However, the voice assistant does not yet recognise me automatically when I am driving. I still have to press the centre button for 3 seconds for the system to recognise me. Maybe it's my unclear pronunciation ...

I really wanted the new Shoei helmet, and this Sena fits the bill. However, you can't really use it with gloves on, the buttons are too small. So you can't feel them with gloves on.
But I would still buy it again in a heartbeat.

For the price, I find quite disappointing compared to Freecom 4 plus .

I only bought the headset because of the Harman Kardon speakers. This headset turns the helmet into a concert hall. Of course, you can also use it as a means of communication and it does a good job of that too. The buttons are just big enough to be operated with gloves on.
I think it's a clever idea that the mesh functions have been outsourced to a separate button. Because like all these devices, there are countless functions but only 3 buttons to operate them. So when you're driving, you're puzzled as to whether you need to press 1s, 2s, double or single. Voice commands are also available, but I'm at war with them. No matter. When the music kicks in with fat bass, all you want to do is drive and stop rambling!
