Bad brakes
I was excited about the C20 I gave my daughter for her birthday. After we finally activated it (had to watch the whole tutorial), off we went. For a kids' scooter, the driving fun is guaranteed.
Aaaaber. The brakes are crap, to say the least. We live at the top of the hill. Coming up, with 2-3 times kicking along, no problem.
Down is a disaster!!!!! The brakes were not enough for my 36 kg daughter, she was getting faster and faster! She jumped off into the meadow, luckily nothing happened. The scooter emits a warning sound at over 18 kmh, but there's nothing you can do about it!!!!!
Do not buy! Segway should urgently improve this!

English: beware of the brakes, not strong enough on downhill, the scooter is unstoppable and gets faster and faster. Braking system too weak! Maybe ok in Netherland, but if you have up and downs in your environment, dont buy it!!!!

Bought this for my 10 yr old cousin, first month of use - everything fine, but after it had problem with brakes. Galaxus replaced it with the same scooter, and he died after 2 months of more gentle use, simply doesn't start and not charging. I asked for a replace on another model or money back

After cursory evaluation, the scooter looked good. However, soon after there was a problem with the brakes, The product was replaced for me. I would like to thank Galaxus for their service. However now, after new test it is again found that the braking system is not satisfactory. The boy is 12 years old and weighs 50 kg, (limit allowed by the technical data), note well that the same has only one brake, the rear one. This product would definitely be good only in the Netherlands, where there are only plains. The recommended child weight is a maximum of 40 kg. In Switzerland there are uphill and downhill and if you don't have brakes you are in danger. I will kindly ask Galaxus, if it is still possible to return or resell it second-hand.
