I could never get used to the wide pro controllers but these things make my heart beat faster, plus they look chic too :)

I own pretty much every controller there is, Scufgaming's controllers are simply the best on the market, even though the sticks wear out quickly, I wouldn't want to play without this grip.

I don't like the wide controller, the Pro is just great... We tried it at the college and will wish myself one for Christmas...

I now have 4 controllers in front of me, all of which I was able to test. The Razer, the Astro and the 2 from Scufgaming. For me, the difference is clearly in the sticks. I also like the paddles of the Scuf controllers better, but the stark difference is in the sticks. This does have a negative side, as the sticks wear out, but everyone has to know that for themselves.

I was unsure at first if it was worth the money but hell yes! I love the controller!

The controller is 100 times better than a standard Dualshock 4. But take good care of it, the smaller parts break off quickly when you drop it.

I've worn out a few scufs in my time, but this one has held up and is still working perfectly after a year. Grip, EMR all there. Unfortunately, it also has vibration, which makes the controller feel twice as heavy. Honestly, who needs paddles but still plays with vibration?

That's just not possible! In general, it is very difficult to make an objective assessment of a controller, because gamepads are supposed to fulfil different expectations for each user. Some like the buttons to be harder, others softer - larger, smaller, more/less resistance, etc.
That's why I leave the personal characteristics aside.
This controller is an absolute cheek! What Scuf offers here for the price of 300chf is really crass. The quality is not at all what I expected from a controller in this price range. The "improvements" and extras that deviate from the usual DualShock controller are so tinkered with and glued together with the cheapest materials. The L2/R2 buttons can be adjusted in pressure travel and resistance, but as soon as you want to adjust something with the "special tool", you always have the feeling of damaging the controller. In addition, adjusting the triggers later led to sudden triggers in the game.
The look under the L/R triggers shocked me a lot. They look like they come from the cheapest Chinese press there is.
The sticks can be changed, but it is quite a fumble to get the new stick in correctly.
The paddles on the back of the controller are very difficult to reach. They are far too far in the middle and thus too far away from the middle/ring finger (depending on which finger you use). To operate the paddles, you have to press slightly upwards with your middle finger, which is anything but ergonomic.
The "military grip" as Scuf calls it is not "grippy" at all. There is nothing matt or rubberised about it. It's a smooth paint job with a military design. In addition, many people have reported that they get very sweaty hands from this paint. I can confirm that.
The scope of delivery is miserable! Really bad! You only get the controller, the magnet for programming the paddles and a tool to change the sticks. 2 spare sticks may have been included, but I can't remember exactly. But neither a cable nor a docking station or a case. You need the tool and the magnet anyway, otherwise you wouldn't be able to programme the controller, which would make the whole thing pointless. If you order the controller online at Scuf, the magnet, which is essential for programming the paddles, costs 10 euros extra o_O --> usurious!
Scuf should take a leaf out of the book of its competitors like Astro C40 and the Xbox Elite Controller 2. The competition definitely puts more thought into how to equip and design a pro-controller.
