Sandberg USB 3.2 Dock for M.2+NVMe SSD
Sandberg USB 3.2 Dock for M.2+NVMe SSD
Works well, as long as the USB-C port is powered.
For example, it doesn't work on all the ports on my laptop.
As a previous reviewer has already pointed out, this "SSD dock" only works on a USB-C port with sufficient power. For me, it only works when I use it via a docking station with the notebook (but not on the notebook directly; however, an ext. NVMe enclosure from Icy Box or an ext. 14" TFT works perfectly on the same USB-C port of the notebook).
For these reasons I deduct 2 stars.

Top product that does what it promises.
The product feels very solid and well made.
Strangely, ssds are recognised on the pc with Sandberg as the brand instead of the correct one, but possibly a limitation due to the USB connection.

Works very well for my purposes - rescuing data from my old Windows PC. Seems a bit wonky - power button didn't work at first, thought I received a dud. Later it suddenly disconnected, which was a bit scary. Not recommended as a long term solution for anything. It's possible that it works better with Windows or Mac than my Linux box.

Due to the length of the cable, it is possible that the Sandberg does not have a stable stand. However, this does not detract from its functionality.
