I have been using this portable blue-ray burner for a fortnight and am very satisfied with it. It fulfils its purpose completely.
However, I did not receive the Samsung SE-506BB when it was delivered, but the Samsung SE-506CB.Pro
- No power cable is required (USB only)
- Works with MAC
- Works without installing software on the MAC :-)
- Good workmanship despite plastic housing

- USB cable a little too short (approx. 30cm)

This is a known issue. The older DVD play without issues. Do not buy if your soul aim is to play BluRay Movies.

I don't know what the problem is with certain reviews here. The drive has been working for me for a year. Of course, you need the appropriate Blu Ray playback software to watch Blu Ray films. And of course the HDCP chain must also be present in the devices. A car doesn't run without petrol, hardware doesn't run without software.
