Expected Samsung quality not achieved
The Level Box Slim is relatively flat, surprisingly light and fits in my jacket pocket. The quality of the speaker is excellent, but the sound leaves something to be desired. I was aware when I bought it that the lower limit of 90 Hz does not stand for rich bass. However, there seems to be no difference from 90-150 Hz. Even with the bass boost of my music player switched on, the low tones are poor. As a travel speaker for my laptop, to watch a TV stream or a YouTube video on the go, the speaker is just about right.
What is absolutely flawed, however, is the minimalist instruction manual. Once the box could not be switched off and another time it could not be switched on. There was nothing in the instructions about possible actions. Exactly the same was once a bad playback quality, probably due to faulty signal transmission. I found out from Google that there is a reset function for these cases via the buttons. There is nothing about it in the manual or online on the Samsung support site.Pro
