Sorry, just a cheap product that never delivers what it promises. Does not find a signal: unplug, plug in and restart. After 3 to 30 times it then finds the signal. What, not 1080p but a higher resolution? You have to set everything again and start the whole game from the beginning.
A quick Google search shows exactly the same picture.
Linux support? No, why should it. The chip that is installed would run under Linux, but why provide a driver package directly ...
Sorry, better buy something real.
Example setup: Win10 PC ->HDMI Splitter ->Roxio (for recording the video on a second device).
To simply record your screen you can also use VLC. It takes less than 5 minutes. If you have a RTPM server, you can also send it directly there. Thus: Roxio is a waste of money.

- Complicated to set up on the Playstation 3.
All in all, a good alternative to the overpriced Elgato Game Capture Card.
Impossible to live on YouTube
This part was a total fail for me. I lost several hours of video material because the recorder crashed several times, each time directly after ending the recording. Then suddenly it said "no feedback". The only option was to close the programme and lose the data. This happened several times, on different days.
Then, when it worked once, there was no sound on the complete 1.5h video files, the ingame sound had simply not been recorded. It was really catastrophic. I could only use 30 minutes of around 4 hours of recordings. It was connected correctly, via HDMI, so you can't go wrong. The software was also up to date.
The design and connections are good, but that's all.
