Rapoo Wireless Mechanical Keyboard KX

I haven't had much experience with RAPOO keyboards so far, but I have to express my complete satisfaction with this model, because it is by far the best keyboard I have ever had.
When it came to mechanical keyboards, I really only trusted the models from the "Die Tastatur" brand. However, when I used this RAPOO for the first time, I was totally thrilled by the typing feeling. The keys have a very soft touch and are very pleasant to type on. It is ideal for people who like to "bang" while writing, because it has a good resistance.
The design is simply first class... Solid metal construction and a beautiful touch screen (keys F1-F12 and Del incl. function keys) with vibration feedback.
Each key is individually illuminated by a LED diode, which makes it very visible at night. The battery rarely needs to be charged (I've had it for a week and no signs of battery shortage yet).
The keyboard is not too loud, but it does have a typical mechanical noise.
The keyboard vibrates briefly when low on battery and vibrates when plugged in which is a pretty sweet feature overall.
Conclusion: This keyboard can also be seen in the upper class of mechanical keyboards. And I can only recommend it to anyone who is looking for a high-quality and beautiful keyboard. I myself was so enthusiastic about the keyboard that I ordered a second one for my home.

The keyboard is solidly built and feels high-quality.
UPDATE: After some time, the USB socket has proven to be highly unstable. It only makes contact sporadically, which leads to annoying continuous vibration of the keyboard and error messages with warning signals on the PC.
It bothers me, however, that the escape key, which is used relatively often, is only available as a capacitive sensor. The switches are unexpectedly soft but readable, which takes some getting used to as there is no perceptible pressure point. In addition, the backlighting, which can be adjusted to three levels, is somewhat uneven, which is why, for example, not the numbers but the symbols above them light up. Another point of criticism is the metal plate in the "brushed look", which really highlights grease spots. Sandblasted aluminium, as on Apple keyboards, would leave a much better impression. For the price, this keyboard is definitely recommendable! If you're looking for a more precise typing feel, you'll have to dig a little deeper into your pocket and switch to Cherry switches (note the colour!).

A little too small but you get used to it.

Lack of Rapoo keyboards E1050 and KX
The Rapoo keyboards, including the new KX with night lighting, do not have CapsLock indication. This is a problem with online banking because you can't see the password routine. So you have to switch on a text application or check in advance in the viewfinder whether you are writing small or capital letters.
Additional shortcoming:
Have had this keyboard for 10 days. After plugging in the USB cable for the 4th time, the socket in the keyboard has disappeared. This makes the KX unusable because you can no longer charge the battery. Cable operation is also no longer possible. This error has already been reported.

The typing feel is pretty bad, I missed the Delete and Esc button after 5 seconds.
Thought it would be cool for certain tasks where I "need" a wireless keyboard and can't use my mechanical keyboard. Was probably nothing.

Although the keyboard looks like it is well made, the hidden defects are probably on the inside. Not even 5 hours in use and the Enter key is only felt in the lower third and when pressed firmly. So it's unusable for writing. Typing also feels like a plastic phone for toddlers. The only reason I'm not returning it is that I don't use it as a keyboard but as a button box for a simulator.

The micro-usb port is very easy to break, I only used it once and it's gone.
I had not ordered the product myself, but had received it.

Good mechanical keyboard, small, suitable for taking with you.

Good touch. Nice design. Compact. Unfortunately, the USB port is defective after only 6 months and the keyboard is unusable.

I'm not 100% satisfied with the keyboard. Possibly because I'm used to the Ducky Mini on my desktop. But it has a few shortcomings. Firstly, the keys are far too soft for my taste. Then the C key was deformed and some of the plastic was flaking off. I hope the plastic won't flake off on the other keys too. Sometimes the signal transmission doesn't work properly either, then only half of the word is there, even if the receiver is only about a metre away. What upsets me most is that the software doesn't show the battery level. You only get a message in the form of a red light on the keyboard as soon as the battery is almost empty. In addition, the battery only lasts about four days. Compared to the Logitech K830, whose battery lasts at least ten days, this is simply too little.
However, since this is the only wireless mechanical keyboard with a CH layout at the moment, you don't have many options.
