All in all, it's a very good product and works easily and flawlessly
Best gift to myself
In Lockdown, you sometimes had a lot of time at home. I ordered the Polaroid Lab to capture all the great holiday photos (when you can't get away). The delivery came quickly (despite difficult delivery conditions). The Lab is already charged, so you can get started straight away. You can add great effects with the app. At first it took me a little longer to find the perfect position for the iPhone (white point off, contrast off and switch off night mode is recommended, also make sure to remove the case/foil). Finding the right colour saturation takes a bit of experimentation. Once you get the hang of it, it works like a charm. Unfortunately, the films are not very cheap, but Galaxus also has an economy set (absolutely recommendable).

Easy on the wallet with the retro look
The films remain expensive, but the failure rate is significantly lower if the photos are shot digitally and only transferred to film at home. Creative effects through film temperature are also more consistently reproducible this way.

Cool idea, but extremely expensive
I first bought the Polaroid Now, but unfortunately it's hard to get a good photo. (every 3rd photo was usable).
I would have preferred to buy this from the beginning, it doesn't have to be carried around, it's easy to use → only with the app, it works straight away.
You can print the photo from the iPhone straight away, but you need a few photos to adjust.
For example, I had to set the exposure time to max. Only then are the photos bright enough.
However, the life of these photos is not forever. Must be stored in a cool place and in the dark.
I will create a large picture with many small ones, and see how long the photos will have a nice appearance.
The photos themselves are extremely expensive min. 1.80 Fr./photo depending on the design (special frames or SW are more expensive).Pro

This thing is awesome.
It's a pain in the ass to carry around polaroids everywhere you go and this camera solves that problem.
It gives us the ability to take digital pictures and then print them. So we can have digital pictures and paper polaroids, the cake and eat it too.
It also gives us the possibility of putting under polaroid format old photos that we have in our gallery of telephones. I was able to print the photos of the Christmas meals that we had with all the family and to give them to my grandparents it is too much sweet.
Of course, if you want to develop real, high-quality photos, go to photographers and labs that develop your photos professionally. But if you like the retro photo style and all that, go for it, it's great.Pro
