Philips Lumea Prestige
Philips Lumea Prestige
After I had cleared the desired body parts of hair in the usual way the day before (shaving was recommended with the previous model), waxing and epilation are now also available as options, which I very much welcome. Now I can use the Philips Satinelle to get rid of the unwanted hair and continue with the Lumea Prestige the next day. With summer holidays coming up, there's not much time left ..... Also, according to the instructions, sunbathing should not be imminent.
So the first thing to do with the instructions is to define the exact skin type and hair type. The device also has a sensor that recognises the skin colour and adapts to it. Now the Lumea is pressed at a straight angle onto the skin surface to be treated and a display indicates when it is optimally placed and ready. Then you press the pulse button and feel a slight tingling sensation on the skin. Then you move the Lumea a few centimetres further and repeat the treatment. This can be done on legs, armpits, bikini and even the face. There is an optimal attachment for each part of the body. The treatment is very quick, the legs clearly take the longest, the first time I spent about 10 minutes, the armpits were the quickest and I was through in about 5 pulses.
As far as the hair-free time is concerned, I unfortunately didn't follow the instructions as well as I could have, as I should have avoided sunbathing during the treatment period and started in spring. Nevertheless, I am amazed at the good results after more than 6 weeks and only the first hairs are showing. If I now stick to the specified phases and repeat this a few times, I am convinced that I will no longer have any lax hairs. My recommendation is to start in time before the next sun holiday.

I am satisfied so far! The hair grows more slowly and thanks to the app you are reminded and can even keep a log.
Let's see how the result is after 4 treatments, I'm definitely curious!
