Cool TV at a great price
The installation was very easy and quick. I was able to connect the Sonos Beam via HDMI Arc and can adjust the volume perfectly with the remote control. I connected the TV to the LAN and watch TV with Teleboy, which was already installed.

TV bugs, big disappointment
TV that takes 15 seconds to start up every time and sometimes bugs when viewing images. Big disappointment.

Television Philips 55PUS8309/12
I was looking for a new TV for elderly people and found this TV at a special price of 499 on galaxus. Delivered in 2 days, it's hard to beat this price for a mid-range TV. I've had a Philips ambilight TV for many years too, and it's hard to watch TV without the ambilight system these days. Value for money and quality, Philips is a brand that I particularly like for its televisions. The picture quality is incredible, the ease of use is instinctive and the remote control pairing function is child's play. No more need for several remotes to turn the TV on/off and another one to use the TV box. Whether you have an apple tv like me or a sunrise tv box, the remote control for your box will be the only remote control you'll need for your daily life as soon as you've paired your 2 remote controls.
Once you've adjusted the picture, the colours, contrast and brightness, etc., you'll get a really good picture. The picture quality is really interesting.
I've read that this TV set doesn't have many options for installing new applications because it doesn't use the Android system. Personally, I don't mind as we don't need them.Pro
