I already had the previous model, but after a few years the battery was slowly dying. I switched to the new model because it has the "red light" option. For me, it's one of the best headlamps for jogging. It fits great and is very comfortable. The light output is very good. I go jogging in the forest in the evening and it's perfect for that.

I was able to test the lamp at a colleague's house and would have ordered it today.
It's just a pity that the price has risen by 38% (from approx. 86 to 119 francs) within one day, otherwise I would have bought the lamp at Digitec, of course...

I have had the Petzl Swift RL for almost 2 years now and am basically satisfied. However, I noticed the following: A red light function would sometimes be handy, it was a bit twitchy when used at around -10°C (short battery life), the light intensity control makes the lamp "flicker" on the fire (but this can be deactivated and who needs a headlamp on a campfire anyway?).

The new E095BB version doesn't allow you to use the LED for the "spot" function, with or without RL, unlike the E810AB version. So, not useful if you want to cycle at night to look at signs.
