I bought the DJOCLATE to mix the signals from my Soundblaster AWE32 and the Roland CM-32L and play them back through the active speakers. In terms of features, this would have been perfectly adequate and the small size is also a plus. Unfortunately, what is offered does not match my expectations of sound at all. I had prepared myself to make certain sacrifices, but I was not prepared for this disaster!
Test #1 (Sound BlasterX AE-5 Plus sound card with the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 BT set)
The system volume was set to 50%, the slider fully up. Immediately you could hear a clear hum. Actually, I would have preferred to stop already there. Instead, I took the trouble to measure the sound pressure:
As you can see in the photos, the average loss of volume (AVG) is a full 13.6dB! Relative to the highest value (Max) still 9dB! If you consider that 10dB is perceived as a doubling of the volume, you can imagine how much loss you have to put up with...
Test #2 (Sony Walkman WM-DDIII with Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro, 32Ω).
The Walkman was at maximum (10) and the slider was again fully open, the volume was just OK.What came out of the headphones was subterranean and hardly classifiable. My ears are still bleeding! The sound was over the top and I don't even dare to talk about sound! I didn't even manage to listen to the end of the piece.
I also noticed that when I press the "Bass Kill" button on the current source, it does what it's supposed to do. But if I press it on the second source, it amplifies the bass of the first source and vice versa...
CONCLUSION:
Total mistake! This thing might be good for the beach at the Ballermann, to give your drunken buddies a good sound. But for anyone who can tell the difference between a jackhammer and a violin, it is an insult to the auditory nerves! It's going back immediately!

I bought the mixer to have 2 headphone signals on my headphones. Therefore, the sound quality was not so important.
However, the part was after one (!) gig Kaput, and had a loose contact on one channel. This was not to fix even with duct tape.
Disappointing Whish quality.

Very handy for combining two audio sources (e.g. a playback and a keyboard) on the same headphones. Works perfectly and does not require a power supply, but the volume is reduced a little by the mixer.
