Very good for the price and occasional use

Perfect for casual shredding!
I like it very much!
For me it's perfect, because I don't need to shred many papers. When a paper that I don't need to save has concrete information about me that I don't want to leave on the street waiting for the recycle vehicle (credit card numbers, confidential information, medical information, etc.) I simply shred it with this device. The result is perfect and it's not cumbersome to do this every now and then (in fact it's a kind of "anti-stress" exercise, I like to see the paper shredding while I operate it manually). I have used it with ~200 papers and it works like a charm, I strongly recommend it. I also like that it occupies little space in my room and that it doesn't need an electricity plug.Pro

Very fragile
Broken after shredding a single credit card... I can still turn the handle, but it doesn't make the grinder turn. Received a refund from Digitec, but definitely I don't recommend.

Surprisingly fun to use, as well as fulfilling its perhaps somewhat boring role at first glance.

I can highly recommend for home use
Ingenious device, little space required, always at hand when you need to destroy a confidential document, even after over 100 shredded sheets still flawless. It is important to shred only 1 sheet per pass.
23 for scrap is still not cheap.
Thank you Digitec that you also have a shredder for hobbyists ready. Since I have followed the horror series Saw, the use of this device reminded me somehow. Super fast shipping for little money. That's why the star. But back to the device. It was already defective on delivery. After I had loosened the 14 screws, I discovered that the pinion was broken....Have received a new one without complaint for which I had to pay only 0.30 CHF on top. It was exactly 30 leaves after the pinion broke again, good that I had the other device and was now allowed to tinker.
Please take the crap out of the range!!!!
