    I used this Camcorder very heavily during a resear...

    I used this Camcorder very heavily during a research trip for a travel book. It was used under a wide variety of conditions. It performed perfectly and created excellent video.

    The photo quality was medium, but this was     expected and not a problem.

    I had considered the Panasonic HC-X929, but decided to purchase a somewhat less expensive model. I am happy I did, especially when the price dropped significantly.

    • Slow Motion Video works extremely well
    • Image stabilisation is excellent. Many videos were taken from a small boat on the ocean.
    • Video quality is excellent
    • WLAN control of camera works good. It takes time to set up and learn, but functions properly.
    • The ability to charge or run the camcorder from a USB power source is very useful.

    I have fiddled indoors and outdoors at Fasnacht....

    I filmed indoors and outdoors at Fasnacht.
    Picture quality very good, operation pretty good, the buttons on the left are a bit flat.
    The built-in lens flap is very practical, no more need for a lid.
    For me, the killer     feature is the possibility to recharge the camera with a powerbank during operation. The power bank is connected to the charging socket, then the camera is switched on. This way you can easily film for over two hours (limited by the SD card). This saves changing the battery and the expensive second battery.
