compatibility / easier operation than before

So far, the device could not convince me.
Neither from the operation, nor from the "sound" (transmission to an AVR with 11.1 (Atmos)) or the playback of MKV files via DLNA from a NAS.
Regarding sound, it naturally depends on the movie itself (sound source/soundtracks) and the room/speaker setup.
Only the picture is top.
I will watch another 4K UHD movie (with Atmos sound format). But after the first impression, the sound via Kodi (via a Pi4 or nVidia Shield) was "richer", "more spacious" and basically more impressive.
The remote control is also a bit fiddly.
However, everything is basically flawless in terms of configuration.
Addition:
Have now "tested" more Dolby Atmos movies. Must revise my statement from above. The thing can what! :-)
In the second Dolby Atmos film, the sound was massively better, richer and really "room-filling". Have "only" 7.2.2, but that's already fun... wants back in the basement!
Therefore, device itself top!

Picture and sound meet expectations. It's not a high-end device, but it's completely adequate for me. The look is very nice and the two buttons (eject and net) are commendably real buttons that can be found even in semi-darkness. However, the device is very compact, which unfortunately means that the rotating noises from the inside are clearly audible, which can be annoying during some film scenes.

Crap, should have taken the Sony. Extending the disc tray via the button on the device works, but retracting it almost never works. You can press the button 5x, nothing happens. If you want to go back to the menu for a movie, it doesn't work. Neither with the Top Menu, nor the Pop-Up Menu button. With both, the message "This operation cannot be performed now" is displayed.
Qualitatively, it is otherwise ok but the device annoys me more than I could call positive.
