The negative point is the same issue than with any other competitor device.

Anyone looking for a multimedia tablet: Hands off. This is an e-book reader, but one on steroids. When used properly, it replaces half an office thanks to Android (notepad, lists, tools for drawings and of course loads of .pdf)

I am very disappointed with Boox. I've had two Leaf 2s, and a Note Air 3, and all three have started to have yellowing edges. This is very distracting. Apparently it has something to do with the glue that binds the parts of the screen that turn yellow under UV light. For a 480-euro e-reader, this is absolutely unacceptable. I have sent it back for repair/replacement.

If you love reading and taking notes wherever you are, with a clean design and advanced functionality, the Onyx Book Note Air 3 is perfect for you. The e-ink screen technology offers a pleasant reading and writing experience and your study/work routine becomes more efficient and environmentally friendly by eliminating the use of paper.
I suggest to buy the Onyx Boox Pen2 Pro Stylus and Onyx Note Air 3 Magnetic Case

I was bitterly disappointed and returned the appliance. Perhaps I was working on the wrong assumption.
I wanted a paper tablet for writing, making notes and sketches, managing, sorting and categorising them properly. I would also want to read a book from time to time. Ideally with a synchronisation function with iCloud or, if necessary, with Google.
I felt transported back to the time of the first Palm Pilot (90s). As the device has such poor note-taking functions in my view, it can't really do much more than a Kindle for 100, for example. The connection to the Google Store is a joke, as the apps I have tried are unusable due to poor graphics and low performance. I therefore consider the price to be extremely inflated.
The one star is given for the good workmanship of the device.
