    really easy to use

For my mother's 80th birthday. The radio was on the Internet in a few minutes and programmed on the preset buttons my mother's favorite stations. For me really easy to set up, for my mother really easy to listen to the radio.

    Short service life

    Looks great, quality rubbish.
I had to exchange the radio twice during the warranty period because the operating system stopped working. Now it's broken again and the warranty has expired :(
    The internet radio mode stopped
working after a few days each time. It simply stopped connecting to the internet and you would have had to connect manually every day.
    Now it just switches off.

    Suitable for elderly people

For my elderly mother I was looking for a radio that is easy to use. This is the case, as long as only on and off must be switched. But she would be overwhelmed with the menu navigation. The sound is OK to good, enough for all times for broadcasts where much is spoken. The sound can be adjusted via presets or individually treble and bass (hidden pretty deep in the menu).

What I personally find good is the alarm function. There are two alarm modes, where you can either wake up once, daily, weekdays or weekends. In addition, the last station, the volume, the mode (Internetradion, BAB+ or radio can be selected in the alarm mode.
Internal battery to operate the device even times without a power outlet.
The radio can be updated via the Internet.

    Fulfills the purpose very well.

    Pro

    • Clear design
    • Easy to switch on
    • Sound OK
    • Sleep Mode
    • 2 alarm times, with some interesting features
    • Sufficient station memory

    Contra

    • Menu items are partially skipped
    • Bass / treble controls are difficult to reach

Would buy it again for this price.

Nice radio, rotary knob for menu selection, not ideal.
Battery life in DAB mode, display lighting low, volume 6/32 only 17 hours, instead of as stated to 24 hrs!
