First, a small device must be connected to the home network via cable, the device is supplied with power via a USB mini plug (not that of mobile phones). Then the lights have to be switched on and paired by pressing a button on the device.
An app must be installed on the smartphone or tablet, and you must also be connected to the home network. The app is not very user-friendly, it is a bit tedious to create groups of light bulbs and they are only saved on the phone, which means that in a household everyone has to set them again. The app is also slow, it takes at least 30 seconds from the start of the app to find all the bulbs and set the colours and brightness. The worst thing is that the settings of the light bulbs are not saved and every time I press the light switch the light bulb has lost the setting again, i.e. it lights up so brightly in white that you could operate wonderfully under it. So every time I want to switch on the light, I have to get out my smartphone and adjust the bulbs.
The colours of the bulbs are OK, but the mixing ranges (between green, blue, red) are sometimes difficult. Yellow in particular tends to turn green, making it difficult to create a cosy, warm light.
I cannot recommend this product.

First of all the delivery was super slow! The lamp is cool but you cant really do much with it. I would recommend it as a geeky gadget but i would not spend more than 90 CHF if I would buy it again, so I believe that is overpriced.

The unit and the bulbs can be put into operation with little effort.
The colour configurations can be taken over on the unit x from the unit y. So they only have to be set once.
The app is ok, but can be improved.
It is best to use the bulbs where the light switch cannot/must no longer be used.
