I am operating the amplifier with a pair of SPE-230/WS. I will hang them in the ceiling in my bathroom. Such an amplifier should only be evaluated in combination with loudspeakers, because the setting has to fit, otherwise the result can be bad.
I have assembled my combination (see above) on a test basis and it is fun. It's enough to make your ears ache :-) Basses are there too. Maybe not exactly suitable for listening to trance but quite sufficient for less bass-heavy genres.

Even audiophile esos will not hear any difference to a high-end amplifier.

If you turn up the volume to normal room volume, the power is no longer sufficient. It is constantly scratchy with music that has light bass. If I switch to my low-priced 450 CHF Denon stereo receiver, it sounds perfect. The problem is clearly this cheap Monacor receiver. It has now ended up in the electric crotch. For 250 more, you can get a proper hi-fi stereo amplifier from Denon or Marantz with breathtaking sound quality.

has noise that I don't have from other amplifiers in the same setup (everything the same except the amplifier).
I am very satisfied for the price!

Hard to be picky, does almost everything very well and the size of the amplifier is convenient for storage. The only problem, which made me put 4 stars instead of 5, is the lack of midrange adjustment for the sound, this may be a problem for people who do not have an equalizer at the output, but it remains very correct in terms of sound if you are not looking for absolute purity.
