Overall, a great throwdown from Microsoft. Pleasant...

Overall a great throw from Microsoft. Comfortable and natural hand position for a relaxed neck and shoulders. Wrists tiptop supported. Keyboard very quiet with pleasant pressure point. Ziffenblock is extra, so that the keyboard is not too wide and the mouse must be guided too far to the right. The size of the mouse is obviously a compromise. For very small hands certainly too big. But if you have medium sized hands, you should be able to handle it. The relatively spherical shape takes some getting used to. However, the shape is deliberately chosen so that the hand (at the side of the mouse) rests relaxed on the table and you do not lead the mouse all the time from the shoulder joint hovering over the mouse. All well thought out! And last but not least a nice and pretty looking design and quality workmanship. I am completely satisfied (and not sponsored by Microsoft). My neck can relax now.

Generally a great keyboard. Works ...

Generally a great keyboard. Works flawlessly for me under Linux as well as Windows 8.1.

The mouse takes a little getting used to at first, but afterwards it is very pleasant to use. Attention, you must not hold it "from
above", but place the heel of your hand on the right side of the table. The mouse is therefore held "from the right". Otherwise, it is clear that you will find it unergonomic.

The biggest shortcoming, in my opinion, is the rubber coating of the mouse on the thumb. After just a few weeks, the coating starts to come off and, in combination with sweat from the hand, becomes sticky. This happened with my model at home as well as with the one in the office.

Best keyboard I've used in a while....

Best keyboard I've used recently. For a long time I was a fan of the white Apple keyboard, but to save my arms I have been looking for an ergonomic keyboard for a long time. Unfortunately, they have only ever been available with the "deep" keys. For me, this keyboard combines the advantages of the Apple keyboard (short stroke) with the advantages of an ergonomic keyboard.

The keyboard also comes with a mouse. This contains the wireless receiver inside. The quality of the mouse is debatable. Even though it is supposed to meet ergonomic requirements, in my opinion it does not, despite its slightly special shape. I also bought the Evoluent Vertical Mouse as a mouse.

The scope of delivery also includes a separate numeric keypad, which I find very positive. I don't need it very often, but at the end of the month when the bills have to be paid, it's quite practical.

Also, the keyboard does not come with 50000 unnecessary buttons. The function keys are double-assigned, as is the case with Apple. Besides that, there is only one additional "calculator" key, for whatever reason (the designer was probably also an accountant ;-) ).

Of course, the keyboard works perfectly under all common and uncommon operating systems. Only under Mac do I need carabiners to assign the special keys (Windows, Alt, Ctrl) as they are on the internal Mac keyboard.

The keyboard and mouse make a very good impression (magnetic closure, etc.).
The advantage of the USB wireless adapter is that the keyboard never goes into pause mode and is therefore less responsive (disadvantage: it uses
    up USB space).
The keys are quite flat, so they are somewhere between a normal keyboard and a laptop in terms of the pressure required.

All in all, it takes some getting used to, even if you had the old ergonomic keyboard.
The split space bar cures a problem of that old keyboard. For me, the enter key is also problematic because it is not clearly enough defined.

All in all, it's worth the money if you type a lot and want it to look good. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether the ergonomics are worth the price.

P.S. Definitely not intended for left-handers!

The keyboard has a higher quality finish than the Comfort Desktop. The keys have a pleasant pressure point and are not so 'spongy'.
The keyboard is a bit larger than a standard keyboard and it takes a few days to get used
    to it.
With the mouse, you have to be careful to hold it correctly. From the side, not from above, otherwise your wrist gets tense.

Very good keyboard. I've been trying lots of different products over the year and I recently purchased that one. It took me about one week to get used to the shape.

The only flaw is the DELETE key is right next to the
ENTER and is quite BIG so it's easy to press by mistake.

But overall it's got an excellent build quality and the shape is very ergonomic.

I used several vertical mice before and this one is a good compromise between a vertical and normal one.
