This camera is too old for windows 10. Do not buy it even if you are in a pickle.

too bright, looses focus
I tested it on Linux and Mac. It looses the focus every several minutes (then it's just blurry for several secodns). And colors are terrible - my face and arms are so bright, they merge with white wall in the background. I am suprised with how bad it is.
Maybe there's a software to reprogram it on windows, but who has windows?Pro

Pointless for Mac users.
The overexposure with Mac devices is confirmed by many on the internet. I should have read the reviews beforehand. With Windows, however, super transmission.

Picture quality good, sound quality weak, focusing problems decrease after a few weeks.
The picture quality is good. The focusing difficulties (quick adjustment of the image focus) disappeared after a few weeks. The microphone picks up a slight whistling sound, but this could be due to the computer.

Serves its purpose
All in all a good purchase. Even if the waiting period was eeewig long. Too bad that the Kamers not always turns off when I no longer need it, so I always have to pull the USB plug, which siche is not in the spirit of the inventor.

The camera has autofocus that jumps on at the slightest movement and tries to focus on the image, which was fine. This happens every 10sec and makes the video choppy and really unusable.
The microphone picks up sounds that the human ear does not pick up, but outputs them to the other person.
When I turn on my office swivel chair, higher I nothing, but my counterpart gets to hear an extremely unpleasant noise.

Bought together with 8Mpx model, didn't compare directly, but I think from 5Mpx more than enough for video conferencing. But certainly much better than the old 1.2Mpx I used before.

Fulfils its purpose, but can only be recommended in optimal lighting conditions.
Price / performance OK, quality varies extremely depending on the lighting conditions in the room. Sometimes the picture is overexposed when the screen displays a bright page.

The webcam produces a very unsatisfactory picture. Even readjustment in Skype does not produce a reasonably acceptable picture quality.
The built-in camera on my laptop has a much better picture quality in terms of sharpness, colour fastness and brightness.Pro

Needs good light in the right place
If the camera is aligned to the light and the room gets enough light, the webcam is good. But as soon as the light comes too much from one side or the room is not bright enough for the camera, it starts to adjust the exposure. There's nothing wrong with the idea, it's just that the execution is bad (I look like the moon and the 30 FPS is more like 10). Every now and then, the autofocus also has the feeling that it has to readjust itself and then I am simply no longer recognisable for 5-10 seconds.
