Medisana Mc825
For ski holiday use - everyone in the house and visitors use it for hours. well past recommended time limits and it is durable, doesnt fail. this is the best rated, i did my research. this is the top brand of this kind of thing... Hard to find good ones in Europe (oddly, in Singapore, everyone has these, but less common in Europe - we shoudl chill a bit more, its good stuff...). excellend on shoulders, neck etc. I am 1.83 m tall with LONG back and neck and its good - I just lift the back up to suit me.
Pro
For people with "normal" body sizes, the massage seat may certainly be good. But for tall people who settle around the 1.90m and taller, this device is not recommended. The rotating balls for the back are quite pleasant in the lower area but absolutely painful in the upper area (and I am experienced in massage and certainly not squeamish). A real sit in and enjoy is therefore not possible. The neck massage I feel as unpleasant as soon as you put your head fully inside. It is then more of a muscle squeeze than massage.

Contra
Relaxing and easy to use, not suitable for children or taller people (1.90).

It's amazing that a device costing CHF 130 can give such a good back massage.
2 round knobs with a diameter of 3 cm rotate and massage the back. (7 cm apart, i.e. to the left and right of the spine).
The knob slowly moves from the lower back to the upper back (to below the shoulders) and back again.
You can enter only the bottom or only the top or the whole area.
Or only at one point (selectively).
With Heat, the two buttons heat up and warm up.
There are 2 air cushions on the sides, which inflate in 3 levels of intensity as required and then deflate again. This compresses the sides of the abdomen and relaxes it again.
There are also 2 higher, 4 cm thick buttons in the neck area that rotate and massage the neck.
Conclusion:
A good and inexpensive massager for massaging the back up to the shoulders and neck.
Disadvantages:
The shoulders are hardly massaged as the neck buttons cannot be fixed; they slide up into the neck, so there is hardly any pressure on the shoulders.
Power cable much too short (1.80 m).
Tip:
In an armchair where you can tilt the backrest, different pressures on the back are possible vertically and at an angle. If I slide my body far down, I can also knead the upper shoulder area.
