Meaco Arete One 20L
70 m², 20 l/24h
According to enquiries at Galaxus, the 20 litres/24 hours are only achieved at 30 degrees and 80% humidity. At 20 degrees and 80% humidity, the appliance only produces 12 litres/24 hours.

I really like the MeacoArete. It doesn't ventilate constantly, but dehumidifies the room and then briefly adjusts every half hour and measures the humidity. That saves electricity.

number three (with a ch plug, by the way) is now allowed to dry the ug and the laundry. after a day in my office, you could already tell that the air is better there too (hamster with litter and meadow hay). Incidentally, number 1 gets on very well with the open-plan living space (kitchen, living room and open staircase).

I bought the Meaco because of the "glorious" test results. The first appliance with the CH plug would have been top in terms of dehumidification performance. However, the night button no longer worked on this one, which should have made the appliance run more quietly. Then, as a DOA case, I received a replacement with an EU plug. That's when the disaster really began:
The dehumidifier never achieved a dehumidification capacity of 20 litres, even though we ran it 24/7 day and night. The night button didn't work on the replacement appliance either.

I have been using the appliance for 3 months.
It extracts a lot of moisture from my UG. To avoid having to empty the water tank every day (and for holidays), I bought a hose.
Unfortunately, the hose adapter on the appliance does not seal sufficiently. It only works if a very short hose (max. 30cm) is connected. With a longer hose, some of the water runs into the tank and stops the appliance when it is full.
Too bad, otherwise very good!

Good to very good drying performance, especially in the tumble dry programme. Unexpectedly, it heats relatively strongly. Would probably not buy it again and would rather look for an air conditioner with a drying function.

The Union Jack flies over the product. Jobs in the UK are to be preserved.
That's pretty stupid man, it wasn't promised Made in GB or EU.
Made in P.R. China!
I'll make full use of the 5-year guarantee.

Much better than my old one. Quite okay with a power consumption of 250W.
Good performance. I find the noise level okay. Not for in the bedroom, but perfectly OK in the next room.

I am amazed at the large amount of water in the container in a short time. The air really feels drier.
Really recommendable!
Delivery was great and on time. My cellar is mouldy and I can now dehumidify 40 litres of water a day. Runs so quietly and works great. I'm happy with it
