Balanced sound, enough power on for larger floorstanding speakers.
Very nice balanced sound enough power, I run the Marantz with a couple (Audio Physic Avanti) and am very surprised at the power he gets out there, my older (Onkyo A-9150) has not quite as much rausgeholt. The only drawback to turn on and off, you have to press the conpf on the reciver.

Good product
Good value for money, good, warm sound
Excellent sound, top price-performance ratio
Replaces a faulty NAD C356 Rowen Edition and the Marantz sounds at least as good for a quarter of the price!
