Excellent produit / Excellent product
Used with Sib, Sib xl & Sib Cube 2009, the AVR is offering a very good sound restitution. As I'm watching movies mainly the evening while my child is sleeping, I raised the volume of central speaker and balance is still here. Please note that I only watch movies in original version with french subtitle.
Wiht CD/SACD I found the sound very good and I was even surprise by the output, with my old amplifier I never achieved this quality.
I like to pilot the 1609 through my phone, especiall to use internet radio but app are not the most user friendly. Yu have to adapt yourself (it took my 30 minutes to understand it completely)

I was not able to test the receiver beforehand, but the sound surprised me very positively. I prefer to use the Pure Direct 2 for a pure and unadulterated sound. The NR-1609 has little competition in this price range. Of course, it is also easy to use and has many connection options. For me, this receiver is worth its money several times over.

Delivers what is expected. I am just using it as a music hub, no video out connected. Satified.

Super price performance
The power of 7x50Watt made me hesitate. But it is completely sufficient (150W floorstanding speakers and 100W satellites) sound perfect and absolutely loud enough.
A super device at an insane price

I redeemed the receiver with the 10% birthday bonus I received from you. I was assured on the phone that I could order other devices until 17 April. When I wanted to order an ALPINE ILX-903 on 17 April, I was informed via the system that this bonus number had already been redeemed. What a pity. Otherwise I am very satisfied with your services and information via telephone. Gladly again Greetings Roland Wächli

Compact and easy-to-use AV receiver with good sound and many connections.
Unfortunately, the automatically calibrated sound parameters cannot be adjusted manually. This means that you have to decide beforehand whether everything is to be done manually or automatically via Audissey.
It would be ideal if I could copy the calibrated values into the manual settings and make the fine adjustments manually.
I first calibrated without a subwoofer and wanted to include the sub afterwards. Unfortunately, this is not possible, the calibration has to be repeated completely.
Unfortunately, the remote control has the same IR code as my Linn Majik, the IR code cannot be changed on the Marantz.
The AV-Remote App is unfortunately unusable, as no connection is established,

Great AV receiver. Nothing to complain about.

Excellent as expected, sounds soft smoothly but powerful and controlled, features are more than enough. I would say also that the apps to control the device and the Heos interface are working perfectly. Congrats to Marantz once again
