It cleans surprisingly well but it bugs all the time, just stops or gets stuck in a corner or keeps going back an forth. In these instances it just stops following your instructions, which is particularly scary when it happens outside. Already returned one and got a new replacement one and there is the same problem. I suppose the product is just not great, which is not that surprising given the price. I would say it's difficult to use overall, because of these issues.
I know I clean the windows faster, more thoroughly and more cleanly.............BUT my bones don't ache after the exercise for 3 days (32 m2 inside / 32 m2 outside). After two wipes outside (1x dry and 1x wet) and 1 wipe inside, the glasses were clean enough for me. Children's hands and dust are gone - fly droppings only partially. However, manual cleaning requires more effort for this type of dirt.
I cut off the safety rope, my balcony doors are all room-high, fixing them with the rope is almost impossible or complicated. When the robot has vacuumed out, it stops bombproof, unless the power fails. It has an emergency battery for this, which also works. Since the robot has to be moved every time a new door is opened, I stay within hearing distance anyway.
When the robot is positioned in the middle of the pane (keep the distance to the edges), it starts its route downwards and then to the left edge of the pane and reels off its programme. After the 20th door, I learned that it is easier to pull the robot off the pane at the end and let it clean the right edge by remote control in vertical mode. It's much quicker and more satisfying.
Conclusion: if the thing breaks/gets lost - I order a new one the same day. This investment has been worth it, at least for me!!!
Greetings to the round / Fürstenländer
