Can be good if you know how to do it
Hello,
I've been taking pictures for several years and I needed a bag for short hikes (6 hours max) that would allow me to take my quick photo equipment and food with me:

I finally chose this model which I thought would work for me.
I was able to place ALL of the above in a decent manner.
But I was disappointed for 2 points:
1. The elastic pockets on the sides to carry a bottle are really TOO elastic and very tight. So by forcing I can put my 1.5L bottle and I can also secure the bottle with the extra strap provided with the bag, but...in the long run I'm afraid it will deform or tear the pocket. It could have made a wider pocket.
2. The photo compartment with velcro is....very complicated to put on. First of all, there is a WAY to put it on, so don't make a mistake with the 2 big surfaces because there is a tab that has to slide into a slot IN the bag. If it's not in the right direction, it's impossible to fix the photo box properly. Also, since ALL the velcro is movable at times, it is difficult to find a uniform case like the original because there are NO markings. So....really not practical. You have to think hard and test several times to find the right setup.Pro

Perfect backpack
I already had the larger 450 AW II and am also very satisfied with this. The 300 I have now bought for small trips or eg city trips. He is not much bigger than conventional backpacks and therefore well suited for it.

Top photo backpack
A great backpack. Years I wait for a photo backpack that is also visually appealing. A great backpack with enough space for a day trip. Has a high quality feel to it. Would buy again.
