I think the camera is great. I don't know what's being bandied about again. Probably just to promote a camera that costs 4 times as much as the 360Link. Just pay for advertising

Everything is great, but the connection cable is unfortunately fixed, USB-C at the end and, for my needs, too short. Otherwise: perfect!

the quality is very good, but the holding is not perfect. Tilting the webcam down often detaches it from the magnetic mount.
the cable should be detachable and have a usb-c / A adapter for the price

Decent camera but not much better than the cheapest options. Struggles in low light like most webcams

Bought on the basis of a product comparison in the FAZ. Does what it is supposed to do and does it very well! The only downside: the cable only has a USB-C port. The USB hub we have for USB devices only has USB-A ports. So we have to buy another adapter in between.

I use it under Linux without any problem, the camera is directly recognised. The image is fine from the outset, fortunately because I don't have the option of installing the Logitech adjustment tool. The only thing missing is the option of using it with a USB-A plug, but an adaptor will do the job just fine.
For the record, the Brio 505 is designed for businesses because it can be remotely flashed by an IT asset management tool. That's the only difference that took me a while to find.

Sound a bit choppy at times, maybe wrong sound setting on my part.

The webcam does what it has to: good picture for a good price ... and is from Logitech. Thanks to the flat monitor, mounting was easy and I didn't have to stick the bracket on. However, I had to buy an additional adapter to connect it to my USB hub - USB-C to USB-A.
I need the webcam for Zoom and Teams, I'm sitting by the window and therefore have daylight as lighting - so the image is naturally illuminated. LogiTune needs to be installed so that all features can be used.
Up to now I have been using the popular "Aukey PC-LM1E" webcam, which I am now giving away via Tutti because the picture is sh**ty in comparison, the sound is miserable and I ended up with a distorted picture because of the wide angle.
Now, with the Logitech Brio 500, I finally have a good, natural transmission image and can decide for myself which zoom level is suitable because of the distance to the webcam.

The image quality is OK, on the level with the rest of the Logitech products of similar category. But:
1) The webcam holder is absolutely terrible. It's meant to be GLUED on the monitor. It's not a huge deal, while it's relatively stable even without gluing.
2) The webcam is mounted on the holder using a magnet that's screwed to it. That screw doesn't hold tight. Any move (e.g. tense cable) gets your webcam to rotate...
3) The led light that indicates that the webcam is working is large and bright. To the point that it distracts.
4) USB-C without a convertor to USB-A (there's way too many USB-A sockets in use -- a convertor is a must).
I should have went for the reliable c920 or c922...

You can see how good the camera is from various test reports - that's why I bought it. But ATTENTION: The mounting requires a monitor with a straight top edge and a flat back, max. 45mm thick! Otherwise nothing works.
The camera has a booger on the underside that can only be snapped into the ring of the mount (magnetic ring, non-magnetic booger). The mount is placed on the top edge of the monitor, hooks into the front and has to be braced at the back. A flat pad with a "suction surface" is used for this, but it must be exactly parallel to the front edge of the monitor. Otherwise nothing will hold. If you unscrew the booger, you can screw on a tripod at this point. I now have a Joby one GP SAtand. That works.
Then there's the permanently installed USB-C cable, which at 1.5 metres is just too short for a computer standing under the table. A proper socket would have been possible for 90...
All in all; good picture, poor usability.

...I meant the pixels, was the 1st statement in the 1st meeting with teams.

Installation was straightforward, both in terms of the screen with all the joints and the self-adhesive pad (which I didn't use), and in terms of the software.
The camera is attached to the stand by a magnet, which is great if you want to show something out of focus. And there's a joint to show your desk.
Image and sound quality are very good. Automatic cropping works very well and is very responsive.
In short, good equipment, as usual from Logitech.

The camera is great. Has additional controls to adapt the camera settings and control to your environment. Using the document function allows easy sharing of notes and to draw explanatory diagrams on paper and share to the meeting participants. Easily installed. Microphone works very well. Transmits a very clear picture. Nothing to dislike so far, thus justifying the higher price than many more basic models.

It is not easy to work your way through all the possible settings. They are too complex and you hardly have a clue what is good and what is not. It would be good if the settings were simplified. Otherwise, a very good product!
