Logitech Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810
CH, Wireless
This keyboard gets an absolute buy recommendation from me!
I have searched
For multimedia PC in the living room on the couch
smallest possible, ultra-flat design à la Apple without annoying electronics container at the bottom and no surfboard of a keyboard
Background lighting
Wireless
USB
Rechargeable (no loose batteries)
And this one can do everything except USB. The only one on offer here.
I also bought an ASUS Bluetooth dongle USB-BT211 here at digitec, which is the same size as the Unify adapter from Logitech.
Everything was recognised and installed via plug and play. Worked straight away with Windows 8 64bit.
For this K810, SetPoint 6.52.74 must be installed at least so that the function buttons can be configured.
But the basics also work without it!
I am happy! But: hopefully Logitech will read this now.
Can you tell me why you only produce something like this with a Bluetooth adapter? All your other keyboards together don't meet my requirements. The design of this one is just perfect. No other keyboard, maybe even the Solar, has that. And for home I probably only need USB.
Then for the successor:
Please separate the multimedia buttons from the F buttons. This might make it a little wider. For me, the size is still perfect! Fortunately, the function keys and not the F keys are active by default.
And for me, another treat: a tiny rotary control instead of buttons for the volume.
This would give me the perfect wireless, rechargeable backlit keyboard for my home cinema.
If you were to make everything from an aluminium cast, you'd be getting a bit rude :-)
I'm the kind of customer where the keyboard is always lying around on the couch or the living room table. That's why it has to look good!
For the PC hobbyists: Attention, the BIOS recognises the keyboard when booting because of Bluetoot...
The keyboard is only conditionally suitable for arrrrrrrrrrrrrr working. The sporadic lags are extremely annoying. I also had various problems connecting the keyboard to my computer via a Bluetooth adapter. If these problems were solved, I would give it 5/5 stars, but as it is, the keyboard is simply not yet fully developed.
I have specially not deleted the "lags" (e.g. Arrrrrrrrrrrrworking) so that you can see this better.

Stylish keyboard, great pressure point, ingenious with the proximity lighting. I use the keyboard on a closed laptop (attached to an external screen). The workmanship is also good on mine, maybe remo1950 got a model that slipped through the quality control. I hope he sent it back and received a replacement!
What I find extremely unfortunate, however, is the reversal of the F keys --> the normal F functions have to be fetched with the Fn key ... e.g. I have to press Fn+Alt+F4 to close a programme. A usual assignment (F functions 1st and special functions 2nd prio) would be better for me personally.
What is also extremely annoying: the complete lack of Home, End and PgUp/Dwn buttons. Especially in Excel, this is more than tedious!

Use the keyboard with a tablet computer and a laptop connected to a screen.
Swiss layout... not as pictured.
Works perfectly!
+ Switch between devices very quickly.
+ Pleasant pressure point
+ Bluetooth connection
+ Back LED, with sensors
+ 2 years warranty
+ Material (aluminium?)
Width: 12.8 cm
Height: 1.4 cm
Depth: 29 cm
Weight: 338 g
The battery has lasted well so far.
Unfortunately, the price is correspondingly high.
Super portable and easy to set up under Windows 10.
Proximity detection for key illumination is a really useful feature and a real plus for this wireless keyboard.

On the whole, very satisfied. Very comfortable to type on. The size is perfect. Easy to carry around and not too small to type/programme for long periods of time.
What bothers me slightly is that the keyboard cannot be connected via Logitech's Unifying dongle (which is advertised as being multi-connectable). Bluetooth is all well and good, but if a dongle is already being used because of the mouse, this could actually be used without any problems.
The Bluetooth connection does not work properly in dual-boot mode. Since the keyboard only sees one Mac address, it always tries to connect to the same Bluetooth "slot". However, the operating system does not yet know the keyboard. If you then pair again, the setting is overwritten by the other operating system. The problem can be solved by overwriting the binaries of one operating system with the binaries of the other operating system.

The following has nothing to do with the product itself, but with the Digitec service that comes with it: My keyboard was delivered by post without packaging. This means that the label with the address and postage was stuck directly onto the Logitech packaging, i.e. for all to see. This does not correspond to my idea of how goods should be delivered to the customer. There should be some protection (padding) of the product and a little discretion. This is not where savings should be made.

Super keyboard. Also works for me under WinXP. Need it for a measuring device.
I can only agree with the previous comments.
I got the device delivered to the office this morning and immediately connected it to my laptop. it worked without any problems within seconds.
the workmanship is really great.
the keys have a good spacing and are very good in terms of quality at first impression. they are slightly wavy in shape and have a very pleasant feel.
I can also confirm that the keyboard is still a pleasure after a few hours (even if you have to get used to it a little at the beginning), because as an it person I have to type all the time anyway ;-) !
what hasn't worked so far was connecting with my windows htc 8x, but that's probably more to do with the phone than the keyboard...!
I can use it with android and iOS! It is perfect!
Great keyboard that performs well even full day use in the office. The lack of the numerical keypad is not missed at all but allows the wrist to be straighter instead being angled away from the body. This provides (for me at least) some reprieve from RSI.
Bluetooth connection is very stable and typing response is good.

Very good product, especially that 3 different Bluetooth connections can be realised with it convinces me very much. The pressure point of the buttons is pleasant and the lighting can be switched up and down in 5 steps. The brushed aluminium also looks great! I can highly recommend the keyboard! I am very satisfied with it, I already have 2!
Beautiful designer piece which also lies well in the hand for working. Pleasant to type on the keys. Illumination of the keys is a plus. Easy and quick to set up / connect tablet and smartphone.

Initially problems with Bluetooth communication delay...In Bluetooth Device, Power Management, disable the function "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
After that, the keyboard was usable without any delays....... Overall, I would buy the keyboard again in a heartbeat. Cool design, night lighting is excellent, range is ok and the keys themselves are great....

Cool part. Mobile phone, tablet and laptop, all connected in a flash. And the size is perfect, you can even write while wearing it.
I've been thinking about spending so much money on a keyboard for a long time..... Now I'm completely convinced!
I'm thrilled with the workmanship, the pressure point of the keys and the
pressure point of the keys and the functions. Typing is simply
fun.... Installation went straight away!
I can only recommend the keyboard...
Hello. I would like to buy this keyboard. My PC does not have built-in Bluetooth. What do I have to do?
