Lelit Bianca V3
Lelit Bianca V3
The machine has been with me for a fortnight now. I am totally thrilled with it. However, as a newcomer to the portafilter, I had to sacrifice about 1 kg of coffee until I had the temperature, water quality, grind, flow control etc. more or less under control and got the first enjoyable coffee. Caffeine overdose included.
Don't watch the YouTube videos from dealers who don't offer the machine themselves - some of them really talk rubbish about workmanship and quality. Lelit delivers a high-quality machine that is well thought-out down to the smallest detail and comes with an unusually large number of components (usable tamper, bottomless portafilter, cup raiser, wooden fittings, 3 sieves plus a dummy sieve and all hoses for the fixed water connection). What seems cheap - for example, the grille on the drip tray or on the cup tray - is even more practical than on nicer-looking machines, because coffee doesn't stick to it and simply seeps through. The water tank is nice and straight when filling and the 2 portafilter stands straight on the work surface to make tamping easier.
The heat-up time is almost twice as fast as comparable machines. With the manual flow control, you can tickle flavours out of the coffee in a much more granular way, and with V3 you can even pre-programme different pressure phases.
I wouldn't want to swap with a slightly higher quality machine like the Proffitec 700 / ECM Synchronica precisely because Lelit offers so much more. Until I can spend double to quadruple on a portafilter, the Bianca is the perfect portafilter for me!
Only the hot water supply is a bit stupid - when the temperature in the steam boiler is high, the water comes out very aggressively and steamy, so that you burn your fingers on the regulator - and all the steam probably won't do the wooden wheel any good either. Other machines do that better.

Don't let certain influencers drive you crazy, the machine is super easy to adjust to your own needs. But at least at the beginning, don't tweak x parameters that you can't yet fully assess and don't brew Italian-roasted beans too hot. In Italy, coffee is not burnt, as is unfortunately still far too often the case here. The temperature can easily be determined by your good taste.

Rotary knob for hot water defective after 2 years and 1x hot water cover. With such a high-priced machine, parts should become defective when used and not when they are not needed.

Perfect coffee - Intelligent workmanship - practical that the water tank can be attached to the side. The matching Lelit filters can be optimally attached in the water tank.
Totally well thought-out, ingenious machine. Compared to my previous entry-level machine, simply optimal.
