iRobot Roomba 785 PET
I have a Labrador - and they leave quite a lot of hair ;-) ... and no problem with the iRobot.
The only negative point is that it crumples up light carpets, e.g. in the bathroom, instead of vacuuming them. Otherwise perfect!

all dog hair is gone, cleans great! The extra charge compared to cheap copies is worth it!
Be sure to remove the battery if not in use for more than 1 month.
I bought the Roomba because we have many smaller separate rooms (up to 30m²), so the robot is wonderful (in tests and reviews it struggles with large rooms).
I tested it with the smallest room and then worked my way up. The Roomba lives up to expectations and vacuums the rooms (except for the corners) very well and also overall. The advantage over conventional hoovers is that it also vacuums under beds, sofas and cupboards!
The Roomba has a really good automatic system that allows me to vacuum several rooms at the same time. Thanks to the Virtual Wall and the Lighthouse, you can define certain areas so that you don't have to close doors and/or move flowers.
The Roomba also vacuums well on carpets and overcomes height differences (about 5cm for me).
Conclusion: It doesn't replace the hoover 100%, as it doesn't vacuum corners and small areas in between absolutely thoroughly, but it can support very well, so that a lot of free time is saved.

After the Siemens/Kärcher, the Roomba surprised with its cleaning performance. Also, the robot does not have to be sent in immediately because of every defect.
In terms of release logic and intelligence regarding timely activation of the charging station, it does not reach the quality of the Siemens/Kärcher products from the 00s.
When trying to free itself, it also pushes chairs into the wall once, which leads to marks and dents. It can also easily starve the battery and not return to the charging station in time.
I don't know if the 800 series also has these shortcomings. But iRobot has a lot of catching up to do. And, the Siemens/Kärcher hardly ever got wedged under anything, unlike the iRobot product - the 800 won't be any better.
