Best investment of the year
The Roomba works smoothly and does a great job.
Please note:
Be sure to stick a Tesa Power Strip (to buy at Migros/Coop) between the charging station and the floor. The Roomba sometimes moves the charging station when parking so that it is in the wrong position and then the battery of the Roomba is empty. Therefore, the charging station on the floor with the Power Strip stick and the problem is solved.Pro

A randomly driving around part with relatively good suction power.
Drives randomly around and slams into everything that is in his way. Chaos principle just.
Looks after 4 months like 5 years old, see picture. Stays also sometimes like stuck, zb. on small carpets or under the toilet.
The app is a joke the only thing you can set on this model is a timer when he should go.
My conclusion: Spend more and buy a robot with more "brains", with room detection, etc. ...Pro

Roomba, a guarantee
I was looking for my first robot vacuum cleaner, and after some research I decided to go with an established iRobot brand like Roomba, and choose a robot that wasn't overpriced.
The robot cleans hard floors like tile and hardwood floors especially well, while on carpets it does its job but the higher models do a better cleaning.
Its random wandering around the house allows it to go over some areas more than once, but at the end of the day it cleans the whole house and does it well too.
It struggles a bit to find the base since it is not equipped with mapping of the house but almost always once the cleaning job is finished it manages to return to the base.
The application is unfortunately quite basic, given the few Smart features of the robot.
Recommended for those looking for a first robot vacuum cleaner that has good value for money.Pro

Excellent quality for the price paid
For some time I was looking to buy a Roomba but the latest models are too expensive and I do not really need it. When I saw the price of this model I couldn't resist. I knew I wasn't buying the latest technology and sophistication of Roomba but to "test & try" is an ideal product. Have a quite big apartment with several rooms and first time I just pressed the button to see how it will react. I could not understand the "logic" or pattern is following and sometimes I had the impression was going through the same areas several times. It did go everywhere, kitchen, Livingroom, bedrooms, toilets, etc without any major problem and without getting stuck anywhere! Cleaning was very good on hard floors and on the small carpets which the robot easily cleaned. finally, took longer than expected to go back to the base for charging but I have to say, i put the charging station in a small WC and not ideal location at all. Yes, is a bit noisy but I don't mind as I am planning to use it when I am at work. Yes, I would like to be able to define zones and do more things but the price to pay for the sophisticated models is very high for me. Very happy with my purchase
