Breaks every time. Lasts around 3 years
We made the mistake of installing more than 30 single and double Iottys when we renovated our home.
They looked great in the beginning, before they started breaking down and would only work, partially, without the glass plate on.
This product works like a poorly tested beta version of something.Contra
- stops working after 1-3 years
- Requires frequent resetting
- Glass plate hooks break off so easily
This switch will break after a few years of usage
I have 6 of those switch at home, one goes on and off randomly without touching it, the other one in the bedroom is flashing in the middle of the night interrupting my sleep and two just stopped working for absolutely no reason. I contacted the customer service regarding the two that broke and they refused to take responsibility for the issues arguing the warranty is over, and even though the problem is clearly due to poor design and construction.
My advice: stay away from those iotty switch except if you’re looking for troubles.Contra
