    Office PC

Super device. It runs as an information screen for me. Install Ram and SSD, Windows 10 on it and that's it. The hardware is perfectly adequate for an office workstation.

    Very Linux-friendly hardware

As a replacement for my previous very Linux-unfriendly Medion notebook (Medion Erazer P6705), again running purely under Ubuntu 18.04.3.

Excellent Linux compatibility, no install or operational issues whatsoever, and with
the appropriate PPA for the latest Intel & Mesa drivers attached, 4k video playback with MPV video player under HDMI 2.0a 60Hz on a 40" 3140x2160 Iiyama monitor (iiyama ProLite X4071UHSU-B1) is no problem.

With 32GB RAM as well as a SAMSUNG m.2 970 Evo plus & 2.5" SATA 6 860 Evo Basic SSD, the rest of the system comes off quite well too! (of course, is only an i3!)

    UPDATE:

The fan is barely audible at low load (office, web browsing, listening to music, etc.), unfortunately this changes to vacuum cleaner level when performance is demanded! (eg. 1080 or anyway at 4k video streaming on YT!) And yes, is only a small fan... Remedy: If possible download video / movie & watch offline, with a resource-saving video player such as MPV is then the power and thus fan use again decent.

    Pro

    • CPU never gets hotter than 75 degrees even under high load (for me).
    • Small & compact
    • Extremely Linux-friendly device

    Contra

    • A real (mini-)DP port (instead of via USB-C) would have been the crowning glory
    • A CH power plug for the PSU would have been nice (but I had one on deposit)
    • If you demand the box, the fan unfortunately comes to vacuum cleaner level! :(
