Programmable colour gradients
The S model is equal in quality to the original. If you choose this, it is definitely because of the colour choice. Animations/colour gradients or static colours are easily selectable in any RGB colour. The previous model could only glow red statically. If red fits into your colour concept, stay with the original. But if you want colour gradients, pulsating colours or further functions in colour design, you are well served with the S model.
The only other difference is that a USB-C instead of micro-USB is used as the interface.
The microphone can stand freely or be mounted on an arm - in my case it's the RØDE PSA1 (on Galaxus for CHF 84.50).

Great for streaming
Great USB mic that has a great sound. I am amazed at how good USB microphones have become. I recommend this mic for all aspiring brodcasters who like RGB.
Good sound quality with little noise - I would buy it again
Tried out various recording situations (speaking and music). The slight midrange emphasis results in a warm, rich sound. The recording volume control prevents distortion from the source.
