All-in-one printer that does what you expect it to do.
All-in-one printer for the home office, efficient and good quality.
But a lot of marketing to get us to create an HP account, use HP Smart plus and the automatic cartridge delivery service. Installing and using the printer without installing the HP Smart software on your computer/smartphone is complicated. A real shame.Pro

Good printer, BUT the software
If I didn't need it urgently, I would have thrown it out the window when I set it up. That's my conclusion about this printer. Why: The setup with the HP Smart App is anything but self-explanatory and terribly cumbersome. To set up a network folder as a scan destination, you first have to research the internet and then perhaps come across a video tutorial to be able to do it at all. Other printer manufacturers simply allow you to enter the path and that's it. To get the fax working, you need a two-wire TAE-N to RJ11 cable, which of course is not included. Good luck finding one. You can't buy one of these (any more). The printer as a printer is top notch. Everything else, especially the software (HP Smart App and the browser interface of the printer) is more than lousy and a real impertinence from HP. Furthermore, you have to watch how you get the additional year of manufacturer's warranty after registering with HP+, as it is not automatically booked... The same procedure for the additional bonus year...
