Like its predecessor, a top device with UPN (reverse Polish notation, RPN), fully programmable with equation solver and matrix calculation (e.g. for systems of equations up to 8x8).
Unfortunately, the keyboard (or the software) had a bug. Often (especially shortly after starting up) key clicks were not recognised or were recognised twice. So if you typed 144, you might get a 14 or vice versa. This is particularly annoying with the operation keys (+-*/), because you then don't know whether the operation was only carried out once or not. (Image: Pressing the keys 123456789 once each in this sequence). This bug is known and can obviously occur with some models (I had two faulty ones). (Error on my two models was approx. 0.7%±2% of all button clicks).
I was then able to exchange the product free of charge and the two replacements work perfectly.

Advertised as a financial calculator. Wrong, it's a scientific one. The financial calculator is the 12c. Limited edition, few are on sale. See the hpmuseum forum for more information.

Looks nice but is unfortunately not really usable as the debounce time of the buttons was defined incorrectly in the firmware. Incorrect entries (double or nothing) are the order of the day. There is a new firmware that is supposed to fix the problem, but unfortunately you need a proprietary cable that is not included, which you could buy for 25$ + 30$ shipping if it was available...

The HP15C looks (almost) like the original from 1982: timelessly cosy!
The manufacturer has really made an effort.
The calculator comes in a decorative box (ideal as a gift) with a case and an English manual.
The introduction to the manual goes into the history of HP calculators.
The Collector's Edition is much faster; so fast that you are almost not sure whether an action has actually been carried out.
The unfortunate thing is the keyboard, which bounces from time to time. The original didn't have that.
It's not really bad but it's sad.
I'm not sure, but it seems to get a little better with use.
I was going to send it back at first, but I'm going to keep it anyway.
