Tempting, but unfortunately no.
The idea of a window cleaning robot is actually tempting. Set it up and let it clean.
We bought the Hobot primarily for our conservatory to clean the glass roof inside. However, hanging upside down the robot doesn't work at all. It can suck itself up and move around, but somehow the orientation doesn't seem to work. After a few forward movements, the robot stops and starts whistling.
On normal windows, the orientation works very well, even on rimless surfaces. However, the cleaning result is unsatisfactory. When the sun shines into the windows, streaks and smears are clearly visible everywhere.
We took our time and tried different cleaning strategies (with and without liquid, window cleaner or pure water, with manual pre-cleaning etc.). The result remained comparably poor with each method. The Hobot achieved the best result on mirrors.

Had expected more
I am writing this comment after cleaning the 30 windows of our house with the Hobot 298 and washing two of the supplied pads four times. The Hobot 298 has trouble with the outside, which are naturally more dirty; you then have to change the pads very often. It leaves a 1 cm border on many windows that is not cleaned. It cannot clean the corners (due to the construction). It is therefore always necessary to clean manually, also to remove plaster stripes. You have to clean the frames yourself anyway. To get an acceptable result, you usually have to send it on the way several times in the full program. That gives a one star deduction. The controls are rather strange. Sometimes the Hobot 298 performs wild "dances" and simply leaves an area uncleaned. You then have to send it off again. The spray nozzle sprays blithely, even when the Hobot is already at the edge of the window: "Let's just spray the frame full." Also, it never comes back to the starting point, but stops somewhere, so you have to fetch it manually. The "AI" doesn't really know where the device is. There robotic mowers are already much further. This gives a second star deduction.
Conclusion: The Hobot 298 is better than nothing. Those who do not look at the edges and corners and like to wash yellow pads will be satisfied with it. If you want perfectly clean windows, clean them yourself or hire a cleaning company.

The Hobot robot does not work on dirty windows. I bought it to clean outside windows that are inaccessible from the inside. Unfortunately if the windows are too dirty the tracks slip and the robot ends up getting stuck in a corner, and it is then difficult to recover it. The instructions give the solution to this problem: first clean the windows manually...!

Does what it should, quality... well
If you want your windows clean, you have to clean them yourself. But if you do not want to take the time and still want to keep the windows approximately clean, has a good partner with the Hobot on the side.
Unfortunately, with ours the tank leaks already after the third use (cracks in various places without external influence). Now HOBOT Technology Inc. is allowed to distinguish itself with the support. Let's see, maybe there will be an up- or downrating.Pro
