GP Batteries CHARGE AnyWay 3in1 Charger & Powerbank
2600 mAh, 12.50 Wh
idea sounded good, but the product does not live up to its promise.
The device comes with 4 1.2V batteries of 2600 mAh each. Since I assumed in my ignorance of the voltage-dependent unit mAh wrongly that I can totally a capacity of something over 10k mAh and thus my 3000 mAh cell phone battery 3x charge. Think! Just 30% of the phone can be charged (and this already takes about 3-4 hours) before the batteries are empty.
Furthermore, I can not charge the batteries on the PC. It only flashes red. Probably the current output of a standard PC USB port is too small. Charging works without problems on the power supply directly.
What I liked about the product was the idea that you can use it with normal batteries, and thus have unlimited capacity as long as you have batteries. However, the device shuts down immediately when I use 4 normal 1.5V AA batteries to charge the phone. Probably the voltage there is too high (approx 4x1.6V with fully charged new batteries, which is then clearly above 5V). But I would have expected that the product would take this case into account and still some voltage reducer in between.
Promises a lot, but can nothing of it correctly.

4 x 2600mAh but charge only 2500-3000mAh of the phone. I have also tested with other batteries and is the same
Works great in the bus as a solar charger! If a battery flashes, you can put it in another compartment and it works. Perfect for a small camper!
