I was looking for a monitor for my 16 inch MacBook Pro. The problem here, however, was that I only wanted one cable and not another separate power cable. The power supply from the MacBook puts out 96 watts, this monitor 90 watts - the highest I found, higher than the LG Made for Mac monitor.
Workmanship is really great, it's worth paying another 200 CHF more here than for the entry-level monitors. Nothing wobbles, it looks high quality and the adjustments work well. The picture quality is also very good. Nice and bright, sufficient for me, but not as bright as the MacBook. I used the monitor in addition to Office also for image editing and video editing - goes smoothly, even in the pre-installed configuration.
Important: The audio output is only for speakers and not for headphones. There is, for example, no way to control the volume, only via the volume control on the speakers.
Charging, image transfer and data transfer with the USB hub work well so far. The interaction with the MacBook also works very well. The MacBook also recognizes it immediately with the correct color profile. However, you notice that DELL doesn't focus on Mac users in two ways: There's no software from Dell for macOS - only for Windows. Secondly, you can't adjust the screen brightness via the Mac buttons, but have to go to the monitor control panel. It's pretty well designed, but as with any monitor, it's a bit sluggish and fiddly. However, a small tool provides a remedy, with this one can regulate the brightness of the monitor via the keys of the MacBook. The monitor has no automatic brightness adjustment! https://github.com/the0neyous...

This is my first monitor and I anticipate; I am thrilled!
The monitor comes chicly packaged and can be put into operation within 3 minutes: Screw the base together, snap the screen into the holder, plug in the power supply and data cable, select the language and you're done.
As expected, the picture is razor-sharp, the colours vibrant and the contrasts perfectly balanced. Whether photos, videos or gaming (tested with CS:GO for now), everything is wonderful and very appealing. The picture runs smoothly and nothing jerks or flickers.
Thanks to the USB ports, mouse & keyboard can be connected directly to the screen. I can connect my Macbook Pro (2018) with a single USB-C port and charge it at the same time. HDMI is of course also included if needed.
The monitor is in itself something to behold; the design is captivating with narrow edges, an angular design with minimally rounded corners and an elegant stand. The monitor can also be rotated, turned and adjusted in height very easily and smoothly.
The monitor has its price, no question, and I spent a long time thinking about it, weighing it up, comparing it, and so on. But now that I have it, I can say quite clearly that it more than lives up to its price. The workmanship is excellent and feels "high-quality". Even the factory settings are not to be complained about.

Razor-sharp picture, great connectivity. Highly recommended.
I have tested 4 monitors, this one costs a lot but is by far the best. Simply 1A! I wouldn't take the previous model because it can't be lowered to 4 cm on the table.
Absolutely top screen without any ifs and buts! I use it as an office monitor. Large Excel spreadsheets, razor-sharp, a feast for the eyes! Extremely versatile in terms of connections. In use with a 5-year-old Lenovo laptop, also with MacBook's Pro. Lenovo runs via DP, MacBook with USB-C. Everything works perfectly. Very clean finish, a few steps above the LG. Nothing wobbles, stands absolutely stable. Ingenious stand, you can rotate, tilt, height adjustment, pivot, everything is there. The picture quality is also excellent and calibrated ex works. You can see that immediately. Price/performance for this quality is absolutely fine and absolutely worth buying!
What else could be wished for and what would be the icing on the cake, a brightness sensor that automatically adjusts the brightness.
The adjustment buttons are easy to use, a little fiddly at first, but they are easy to adjust. The menu is simple and logically structured, you can get along immediately without a manual. Moreover, you set it once, then no more.
But it more than deserves 5 stars. It's hard to find something better in this price range.

Works well with my Mac Book Pro 15 inch, laptop gets warm as does the keyboard, no jerks, would buy it again super satisfied. Unfortunately, I received the wrong power cable for Switzerland, but I was able to exchange it in the store without any problems. Can now work so much more effectively. :)
Great screen if it weren't for the usual Dell aftertaste. The device cannot be used with a Macbook. HDMI port is present but can't be used due to paused signal interruptions. Tried three different cables.
With an HP G5 notebook I use the via the USB-C port and there is also very frequent connection problems. Either pixel errors or connection interruptions.
A perpetual green banana.

Very good screen, which I will keep. I had a few on test for my MacBook. There were a few great ones. However, they also had a wobbly stand. As a fast typist, I almost got seasick each time. The Dell U2720Q doesn't have that problem. I am very satisfied.
The standard picture setting is already very good. I have now kept the following setting, which is now exactly the same as my MacBook 13.
-User colour: R=100% / G=100% / B=100%
-Display: Response time = Fast
-Display: Smart HDR = Game HDR
-Display: UBS-C Prioritisation = High Resolution
-contrast: = 76
-Brightness: = 100% (or depending on time of day / room brightness)
-I also installed "MonitorControl" as recommended by @Noel8811. Allows via MacBook keys to control the brightness of the Dell; very handy.

Since my desk is free-standing, I also like the nice back in the dark grey / aluminium base and matt colour. The glossy black or white backs always look a bit "cheap" in my opinion. If the desk is against a wall, it doesn't matter, of course.

The best monitor in a long time. At first I was a little sceptical about the price/performance ratio. The device delivers what it promises.

I use the screen mainly for image editing and video editing. The 4K resolution, coupled with a factory-calibrated panel and good colour reproduction, is designed for the content creator and worth every cent in my opinion.
The only drawback is the perceived workmanship (especially on the back) of the screen. At least on my model, there is a bit of creaking when I put it together. But if the umbrella serves its purpose and lasts a while, I can overlook that.

The screens are absolutely top-notch. I am deeply impressed. Hard to distinguish from the Apple Retina screens, which are three times more expensive for the same size (27”).
I just don’t understand why Galaxus delivers screens with European power plugs in Switzerland. They don’t fit in the power sockets here. It is relatively easy to solve, but should not be the case.

Using two of these screens, there is a very noticeable difference in them out of the box when both are supposed to have been factory calibrated.
As these screens are targeted at high-end use, this is unacceptable for the money

After years of trying different monitor brands, we landed on Dell and they were better in their category than pretty much anything else.

The monitor works smoothly with Mac and Windows, always at 60 Hz (with compatible devices).

3 weeks after the warranty period expired, a defect suddenly appeared for no apparent reason. The picture flickers and is unsteady at short intervals.
Dell's telephone support is not helpful! After realising that the warranty period had expired, I was informed that a device replacement or repair was out of the question.
My conclusion: Dell once and never again!

Actually a good screen in operation, if it would work. First display has picture problems after one year. The replacement display turned out to be defective after just 30 minutes of use. Connectivity to the MacBook is disappointing. When plugging in the USB-C cable, it takes about 10-15 seconds each time until a picture is displayed.
