Exactly what I needed
I live in a 1950s house which is poorly insulated resulting in condensation and mould growth on a north -facing wall. I was sceptical as to whether a dehumidifier could solve the issue but I bought this one at a good discounted price and I am delighted with the result. I've automated it using a Shelly WiFi plug and WiFi humidity sensor so that it keeps the room around 60% humidity in the day and it totally removes the condensation from the wall.
The unit is too noisy to use in a bedroom at night but since there's a refrigerant compressor inside this is to be expected. I was a little disappointed about how basic the built-in timer feature is – it only allows you to delay turning off or on – but I fixed that with IOT components. Apparently this is not possible with some competing models that do not start by themselves when power is applied.
Bottom line is that this device has bought me more time to finance and organise the necessary building work to solve my house condensation issues.Pro

Good appliance, very sorry about the European socket, a cable with a Swiss plug is supplied, but the manual does not say how to unplug it
