Unfortunately, it has already happened twice that the left CTRL key no longer holds. Last purchase on 20.10.14 and now already broken... You can also read in other forums that the buttons don't hold anymore, and you can't put them on properly. But you can't expect much for this price, can you?

After a year, some of the buttons only respond when you press really hard.
I would have expected more quality from Cherry. This keyboard has no gadgets or special functions - it's just supposed to be a solid office keyboard.
Missed the mark, insufficient.
I've had it for over a year now and I'm buying the second one.
Super keyboard! And at this price? Fantastic! No frills!
Super keyboard with flat keys. It is very quiet, has large keys and requires little power.
I can highly recommend it to anyone who likes flat keyboards.
I ordered several (in stock) because they disappear so quickly.
what certain people have to say about it is beyond my knowledge.
my knowledge. i have been using it for many years. i don't know any
better.
thought a few times that I would have to try something else.
(= WASTE OF MONEY).
+ keystroke
+ plain & black
- S-key imprint no longer legible after only 1.5 months
The keyboard is comfortable. However, I have several keys that have lost their lettering. This makes the keyboard extremely tedious to use (even if you know the 10-finger system).
I am surprised that I am the only one with this problem. I have bought two of these keyboards and have the same problem with both! Simply frustrating!
Unpleasant to write on. Hard landing point. No feeling. No pressure point response. Results in finger pain. One key already defective after half a year.
Thought cherry was good. But totally disappointed.
Contra
Super soft touch of the keys. Absolutely recommendable.
Everything tiptop
That the keyboard could be set a little steeper would not be wrong.
Does what it promises. Also a pleasant writing feeling. Unfortunately, the quality is insufficient. This is the second keyboard of this brand that has given up the ghost during the warranty period. Reliability looks different.
For the price, a hammer keyboard with a good stroke and a tactile pressure point.
Unfortunately, it is often not available from stock. But the wait for delivery was worth it.
I have now been using this keyboard continuously in two places for 5 years, about 6 hours per day. Conclusion: I have yet to come across anything better (apart from the built-in keyboard of the ThinkPad x220).
Wireless, more multimedia and such - let's be honest, who really NEEDS that? ;-)
I've been using the keyboard in the office for a few weeks. No frills and a very pleasant touch. Clear number 1 in terms of price/performance.
If it was wireless or had more functions, it would get 5 stars. If you are looking for a no-frills, pleasant keyboard that you can work with well, this is the one for you.
I have owned and used this keyboard for a few days now. Unfortunately, I have a rather negative image so far. However, I like the material and shape. It is also very flat, as I am used to from my notebook. That was the main requirement.
Most of the keys are somehow relatively plumb and rattle when you stroke the keyboard. That bothers me quite a lot. You get used to stroking the keyboard and getting upset about it.
When I press 5 on the numpad, the key stands up and I have to press it back in again to get it back to its normal position.
However, I don't know if you can complain at this low price...?
and already sold out again.... always when you need them. for this, there are endless 1 of i know what other placeholders in your warehouse, better reduce the assortment, but keep the good items in stock! product: 5*, digitec 1*
I can only say positive things about this keyboard. I've had a few, but this one is by far the best!
Simply ingenious. Thanks Cherry!
I'm giving it another five stars because this keyboard is really tough... I'm a bit embarrassed, but yesterday one of these keyboards (I have several of them) made an unpleasant acquaintance with the contents of my coffee cup. A real direct hit, right in the middle...
The Cherry advertising ("splash-proof") doesn't promise too much. Just wipe it off, wash it carefully under the tap and let it dry for a few hours on household paper. To be on the safe side, I finally went over it with "Cyberclean". Result: The thing is like new, you can't see anything and the function is the same as before. No hanging keys, nothing is sticky or anything. Great thing.
Of course, I don't know how it would have turned out with a RedBull, but I'm confident.
I've already had an accident with RedBull on another model (Apple Wired aluminium keyboard). Fortunately, it was only minor and very superficial. But I don't think you could have cleaned the Apple part so well.
We are very satisfied with this keyboard and have already reordered several since the first order.
"Super keyboard:
- very good workmanship
- pleasant typing feel
- relatively quiet
- super design
Cherry halt ...."
I would say exactly the same.
I've had it for over 1.5 years now and still think it's great. As I have already mentioned several times, it has a relatively hard stroke - very comparable to a notebook keyboard. The quality is good, even if some of the keys are a little loose - that doesn't bother me at all when I'm actually using the keyboard.
Even after 1.5 years, the "S" key is a little worn, but otherwise everything is still perfect.
Edit: Unfortunately, I have to revise my rating. This is already the second keyboard in a few years where the keys have failed.

super workmanship and very precise.
The keyboard feels like a laptop keyboard.
If you like that, like me, you're right on the money with this keyboard.
The best keyboard I've ever had. I bought a second one to use at work.
+Price
+Pleasant to type on
+ Very robust and well made
So what more could you want?
And the games I play all run without problems :)
I've been through a few keyboards, but this one is probably one of the worst (even worse than the one I got for an acquaintance with a Dell PC). I've always been a Cherry fan, the predecessor of this keyboard, a Cherry RS 13000, lasted many years, but this Stream XT doesn't get old here - TOO flat, similar to the KB of my Thinkpad but classes worse, a bit too sluggish and worst of all: The space bar hooks or you have to press it deeper than the edge of the case, which is quite difficult with a flat hand position (no palm rest) because the thumb is often held up by the edge; in this short text alone I had to re-edit about 12 "forgotten" spaces.
I've had the keyboard for 10 months now, and now the shift key is starting to go crazy, I have to press much harder to make it work. Before, with the word "shift", I actually wanted to write it in capital letters, and I pressed the key (<-again), but because I'm not used to having to press harder, the letter becomes small, or an 8 from the (.).
It's not a gaming keyboard, so you can't press an unlimited number of keys at the same time and certain keys don't work at the same time. That's normal and only bothers you if you want to play some games where you can't change the key combinations.
I have Ubuntu and the keys for controlling music/video games (forget what they are called) work out-of-the-box without me having to adjust anything.
not recommended for gamers...
Processing is ok... robust and does not exactly break.
similarity as mentioned below with a notebook keyboard.
An excellent keyboard. High-quality workmanship, very pleasant to type on. Recommendable!
a very simple keyboard that meets my requirements. it is very pleasant and soft to type on. you almost don't hear it.
it looks very robust. you can tell immediately that it's quality -> cherry.
very thin, but quite heavy -> firm grip.
all in all: top keyboard for a low price.
recommendable for every user.
