The photo printer of choice for those who don't need A3 and rarely print b/w.
This printer is the hammer. Clean office prints you can probably expect today. But I bought it as a photo printer and am thrilled.
For this price range, it produces photo prints that are a joy to use. Only in black / white photo printing, the large devices are still clearly superior, because they have several gray inks.
The rear paper tray finally solves the problem that photo papers were often not properly fed.

I do not recommend this printer.
I am very disappointed with this printer. I bought it to replace an old canon mp 610 (7 years of use). After setting it up and installing the latest drivers, this WIFI printer still does not work properly ("printer not responding", "Collecting printer status information...").
I lose each time a lot of time to print a simple sheet of paper, because this WIFI printer does not answer immediately. Sometimes, I have to restart it 1 or 2 times. I chose a wifi printer to save time and not the opposite.

Too rickety for constant use (too much play in the individual parts of the printer, not solid enough)!
Compared to my previous Canon Pixma MG8250, the new TS8250 printer is a rattle rack! It is not a solid printer; for example, if you move the paper output a little, it really rattles. You get the feeling that the plastic parts of the printer almost don't fit together and have too much play. I wonder how long it will last!

Canon Pixma TS8250
Photos printed with the Pixma TS 8250 are just beautiful, bright and with true colours. Printing is very fast. The touch screen is large and clear, you can launch your printouts from there. I have not yet tested the other functions (copy and scanning).

I was recommended Digitek as a supplier only to find out purely by chance the next day I could have purchased the same printer for a saving of CHF 74 from a well-known electronics company.

Better for non-Linux users....
Not fully supported under Linux. Scanning only rudimentarily supported (scangearmp2) - SANE does not (yet) support the model (http://www.sane-project.org/lists...).

Good printer, unfortunately I can no longer connect to the wifi since a software update.
My experience with this printer is mixed. On the one hand, it's a fast, good, pretty printer, but on the other hand, I never managed to get the scanner to work in wifi mode (but well, that wasn't my main goal with this printer).
When I did a software update to try and get this to work, it broke something on the wifi, which means I can't connect to my wifi ever since. There was also no way to reset the thing so that it would work again.
Now it is connected to the MacMini with the cable, which works, but of course leaves out a large part of the possibilities. If I needed the printer more often, I think I would be very dissatisfied. As it is, it's OK for a few pages a month.
All the sexy features, be it Dropbox or anything else, are almost completely unusable because the operation is so awkward that it doesn't work. For example, when scanning, you have to select the folder you want to scan it to every time, which takes forever and is incomprehensible. In any case, the mass of features took precedence over actual usability.Pro

User friendly

Gives up the ghost after one year
Already after approx. 200 pages, new cartridges have to be bought at great expense. After another 200 pages, the quality of the printout becomes almost illegible and the printer does not manage to fix the problem itself ("nozzle alignment failed!"). All in all, not recommendable at all.
However, the connection via WLAN works surprisingly well.Pro

The excellence
Not purchased from Digitec but I have had it for a long time. I can say that it is an inkjet printer that will never let you down unlike HP inkjet printers. Easy to use, very clean printing, relatively fast except for recto/verso, but the cartridges are a bit expensive. I highly recommend it to everyone around me.

Perfect to throw against the wall
Maybe your experience with this printer is different, but my Monday model wasn't made for my nerves so it took flight.
