Canon Pixma Ts5150
Ink, Colour
this was a replacement purchase for a defective 6 year old Canon 7550. (which ended up working and operating again after installing new firmware).
As a successor, the PIXMA TS 5150 is totally ridiculous, the box rumbles and crashes away until a sheet comes out, but he prints ;-). Even after printing, it makes noise for what feels like an eternity and crackles one together. The highlight is the fake touchscreen that you can actually operate via side control panel buttons. Dear Canon developers, that was a reach into the lowest drawer, even in this price segment.
Since we still have room, it is not immediately landed in the garbage can and should do its job until the end of the cartridge filling.

Contra
For the price (66CHF at the time) and compared to other printers, the Pixma meets my expectations.
One must clearly understand this
- The printer is slow. If you have no patience, you should look for something else.
- No touch screen. I did not need one
- The paper tray holds about 50 pages... i.e. not that big.
- The scanner is slow.
- Not necessarily quiet, but not as loud as sometimes described here.
What I like
- It presses. The cartridges are 'relatively' cheap compared to other brands (HP!).
- Scanning brings a good resolution. The app makes this very convenient

Price performance fits
It's not a print centre, of course, but it's perfectly adequate for occasional printers.
