We compared the small Samsung W-Lan Laser and the OKI 5700N earlier. For this price, this laser printer with all its features is unbeatable!
Scanning works perfectly with the scan programme directly to the laptop.
Print quality is amazing for the price. On glossy paper much better than the OKI.
Absolutely no wifi problems with the printer.

For the first time after many inkjet printers in the last few years, I have chosen a laser.
I have been using the colour laser for a few days now:
Everything is fine. By integrating it into the WLAN, the whole family (1 Mac, 1 PC, 2 iPhones, 2 iPads) now prints without any problems and wirelessly from every corner. Scan to PC" also worked straight away via WLAN. The automatic feeder for scans and copies, the automatic standby and the simple operation are also convincing. With the CHF 100 cashback, for me a lot of performance for CHF 224.
I'm curious how long the starter toner will last...The printer has now been in use for 7 months and...

I had the device in use for about 10 months. Apart from occasional interruptions in the wifi network and minor failures that could be 'fixed' by switching the device off and on again, everything was actually OK. The print quality is good for a device in this price range.
So much for good....
4 weeks ago, the machine stopped working and requested service via the display: error code E744-6000.
Today the unit was returned with a replaced main controller: E744-6000, no function possible... Contact the service department...new collection date... according to statements, the whole thing should take place up to three times until a new device can be obtained...
Ergo 3 months without a device and a lot of effort, trouble for all involved, which I would have better invested in a high-quality device... the next time then probably not from Canon...Excellent

I have always thought that Canon builds functional and user-friendly parts... This printer fulfils few points: It's a pain to use, very slow to start up, scans very slowly and always has paper jams, PDF printouts with all kinds of characters in them (instead of blank, there are horizontal-8 everywhere)...
I have never bought such a piece of crap. I will return the machine!Contra
